Our reading consists of a selection of passages that have to do with our attitude toward the future. Do you worry inordinately about what might happen in 2024? Do you wish you could know ahead of time what the coming year will bring? Do you have trust in the Lord? If you do, what does this mean for your outlook on the future? What do the Lord’s words in the Sermon on the Mount mean for you?
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.
